Securing the distribution of liquid antibiotics to groups of growing pigs requires both the automation of preparation and distribution processes to control dilution rates and volumes delivered to each group, as well as a simple and reliable system for traceability management.

This is why Distriliq was developed by Cimac Élevage in collaboration with a group of breeders and their veterinarian.

The quality of work achieved with this tool can be measured in terms of:

– Working comfort: the automated preparation and distribution of antibiotic solutions is carried out effortlessly compared to bucket preparation traditionally used until now.
– Work efficiency: the volumes distributed are precise and easy to monitor using the volume counter.
– Treatment traceability: supplemented animal groups are easy to identify.
– Cost savings: targeting only the pens requiring supplementation provides significant savings compared to feed supplementation, which would involve at least all pigs within the same room.
