The Cimac Élevage pneumatic ear tattooer is equipped with 5 mm characters. It is designed to tattoo piglets on the ear with the farm VAT number or an individual identification number in the farrowing unit from 4 days of age, or even at birth for breeders and multipliers.
Its working comfort, high execution speed (up to 600 piglets per hour with two people in the farrowing unit), and tattoo quality make it a highly efficient tool.
This product is approved by the French Ministry of Agriculture under approval number FR17.
The Cimac Élevage ear tattooer is made of stainless steel and weighs between 800 and 1000 g depending on the version.
Four models are available:
– 1 row of 6 characters
– 1 row of 8 characters
– 2 rows of 6 characters
– Numeric barrel model for breeders and multipliers
A pneumatic cylinder, housed in a stainless steel casing, operates an articulated head on which the characters used to mark the ear are mounted.
Two options are available for tattooing: handheld use of the tattooer, or fixed-station use to keep both hands free and handle piglets more easily.
In the second case, a pneumatic foot pedal placed on the floor activates the character holder head.
