The Cimac Élevage sow tattoo hammer is designed to tattoo the farm’s VAT number on the rear shoulder area of cull sows before transport to the slaughterhouse.
The hammer’s ergonomic handle and character holder are made of stainless steel. The characters are arranged so that the number can be easily read at the slaughterhouse when the carcass is suspended on the slaughter line.
This product is approved by the French Ministry of Agriculture under approval number FR42.
