The Cimac Élevage piglet tattoo hammer is designed to tattoo the farm’s VAT number on the rear shoulder area of growing pigs.
The hammer’s ergonomic handle and character holder are made of stainless steel. The characters are arranged so that the number can be easily read at the slaughterhouse when the carcass is suspended on the slaughter line.
This product is approved by the French Ministry of Agriculture under approval number FR41.

The ergonomic design of the tattoo hammer, particularly the open angle between the hammer head and the handle, combined with the weight of the stainless steel, makes it a simple and easy tool to use without requiring excessive effort to swing and mark the pigs precisely where intended.
Applying thick ink between each pig to be tattooed ensures better readability at the slaughterhouse.
