Description
The cylindrical boluses are packaged in a 270 mm long tube, allowing a large number of boluses to be stored.
Features: the handle and plunger are molded from plastic material, while the tube, push rod, and rod return spring are made of stainless steel.
The rubber fitted tightly onto the tip has a dual function:
Its elasticity allows diameter variation, enabling a wider range of tablet sizes to be used.
It protects the rigid part of the tube and helps prevent injuries to animals during bolus administration.
To adapt to the age of the animals and the size of the boluses, different dimensions are available:
– For sheep and young calves: tube length 275 mm and diameter 17 mm, allowing the administration of tablets from 14 to 16.5 mm.
– For calves and goats: bolus holder tube length 298 mm and diameter 22 mm, allowing the administration of tablets from 19 to 21.5 mm.
