Description
The handle is molded from plastic material, while the tube, bolus holder tip, and return spring are made of stainless steel. An aluminum insert is added to the upper part of the handle to reinforce the long-term stability of the stainless steel tube.
The rubber fitted tightly onto the tip has a dual function:
Its elasticity allows diameter variation, enabling a wider range of tablet sizes to be used. For example, a 19/21 bolus gun can administer tablets from 19 to 21 mm in diameter.
It protects the rigid part of the tube and helps prevent injuries to animals during bolus administration.
To adapt to the species, age of the animals, and bolus size, different dimensions are available for single-tip models:
– For sheep: the tube length is 150 mm
– For calves: the tube length is 300 mm
– For adult cattle: the tube length is 500 mm
